The scooter is loaned subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The primary use of the machine will be to access employment related training, actively seek employment or attend employment.
2. The machine will be taxed and insured by Devon Wheels to Work CIC and will come complete with a safety helmet, reflective jacket and safety gloves, these must be worn at all times when the machine is in use. This equipment will be returned to Devon Wheels to Work CIC at the end of the loan period.
3. Devon Wheels to Work CIC will pay the cost of the initial CBT training course.
4. The beneficiary will meet with a Devon Wheels to Work CIC fieldworker as required to have the machine safety checked at regular intervals, this will be once a month. At the same time your contribution of £8.00 per week towards the running costs of the scooter will be collected. This does not affect in any way your liability in respect of vehicle damage or insurance excess. The prime use of the machine will be to access employment or work based training.
5. The machine will be subject to an £250.00 insurance excess for users aged
below 25 and £150.00 for users aged above 25 years. This will be the
responsibility of the user in the event of an accident. It is your responsibility to
report all accidents to Devon Wheels to Work CIC as soon as possible.
6. The scooter is subject to a service agreement at intervals of 3000miles. It is
your responsibility to let us know when the service is due.
7. You are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and security of the
machine.
8. When riding you must comply with the law at all times.
9. You are responsible for any parking fines and wheel clamping fines you may
incur. Be aware that whilst this machine is contracted to you, you are respons
ble should you illegally park or should you be wheel clamped (the average fine
is £100.00 for clamping, £250.00 for towing away should you be unable to pa
the fine and £25.00 per day storage).
10. You are responsible for the cost of a replacement tax disc should it be lost or stolen.
11. This scooter is only to be ridden by you.
12. This contract is dependent on continuation of our funding, if the funding ceases to exist, your contract will also cease.
13. Devon Wheels 2 Work CIC reserves the right to remove the scooter without warning if it is being abused or safety is compromised in any way.

This machine must at all times be used in a safe manner and only ridden by you. The machine will be withdrawn immediately if any code of safe conduct is not adhered to.
